VIJENDRA NALAMOTHU
VIJENDRA NALAMOTHU is Senior Director, Research & Development. At Promius Pharma, he is responsible for taking products from the mind to the marketplace. This includes early compound assessment, preclinical research and studies, formulation development, analytical testing, validation, clinical supplies, manufacturing process development, and validation activities for manufacturing.
Background:
To meet diverse job challenges, Vijendra is able to draw from an exceptional educational background that combined scientific study with pragmatic, hands-on experience solving R&D challenges. Most recently, he made a mark at sanofi-aventis Worldwide Dermatology (Dermik), where he acted in the capacity of Senior Research Scientist, Manager/Principal Scientist, and finally, Senior Manager and Department Head. He has also held positions as a Research Pharmacist, Pharmaceutical Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist.
Philosophy:
At Promius, Vijendra is on a constant quest to develop innovative products that meet unmet physician or patient needs in dermatology. He explains, "Our goal is to develop products that can be easily promoted by sales and marketing because they speak for themselves and provide valuable marketplace differentiations."
